ABC Swim UK is an independent, family-run swim school offering friendly, supportive swimming lessons across Berkshire, Surrey and Oxfordshire.
From a baby's first experience in the water to adult swimming lessons and children's progression from beginners to confident swimmers, we help people of all ages develop essential skills, build confidence and enjoy swimming.

I'm Beck, founder of ABC Swim UK.
Working with children has always been my passion. I have over 30 years of experience working with children and more than 20 years of swimming teaching experience. In 2019, I made the decision to leave a stressful but much-loved role behind and follow my dream of creating a swim school that felt welcoming, supportive and truly focused on the individual.
Everything was ready to launch in 2020 and then, well, we all know what happened! Starting a swim school during a pandemic, when pools were closed and the world felt uncertain, probably wasn't the easiest timing. But I believed so strongly in what I wanted to create that I kept going. Thankfully, that leap of faith paid off.
What began with just three afternoons and one morning of lessons each week has grown into an independent, family-run swim school operating across Berkshire, Surrey and Oxfordshire.
At ABC Swim UK, we believe swimming is a life skill for everyone. Whether it's a baby's first experience in the water, a child's journey from beginner to confident swimmer, or an adult learning a new skill, our aim is to make every lesson a positive experience.
We focus on small classes, supportive teaching and helping every swimmer develop at their own pace. Seeing confidence grow, celebrating those little milestones and watching people discover what they're capable of is still the best part of what I do.
